David Boudia dives off Burj Khalifa Dubai in Visa TV ad for London 2012 Olympic Games

VISA’s London 2012 Olympic Games ad campaign running currently on YouTube features a spot where diver David Boudia is seen climbing to the spire of Burj Khailfa in Dubai – the tallest building in the world. And then… leaping from it with an unending series of somersaults as he dives with many others into the pool below!

The voiceover says that David Boudia makes over 25,000 practice dives a year; which is like diving off the tallest building in the world over 180 times. All of the practice is for that one perfect dive at the London 2012 Olympic Games.

It’s a great brief to work on – sports, so many nations, the determination, the sweta, blood and tears – the aspiration! Well done, well executed.
